Army to Commence League Play on Saturday

WEST POINT, N.Y. – After claiming back-to-back victories, the Army West Point men's soccer team will resume play this Saturday in Bethlehem, Pa. with a matchup against Patriot League foe, Lehigh at 7 p.m.
Army has enjoyed the most success of any Patriot League school during the non-conference slate with a 5-2 mark. Lehigh has crept up behind the Black Knights, holding a 4-2 overall record, which is good for second in the league.
The Black Knights and Mountain Hawks have been battling it out on the pitch since 1922, with Army holding the all-time series edge, 22-19-6. Army has won three of the last five meetings between the two squads, including a 4-1 victory last year in Bethlehem, Pa.
ARMY (5-2, 0-0 PATRIOT LEAGUE)
• Army is coming off a 2-1 come-from-behind win over Marist on Sunday.
• Sophomore Tyler Mitchiner was named the Patriot League Midfielder of the Week after netting a pair of game-winning goals last week.
• Dating back to last season, the Black Knights have recorded double-digit shots in 14 straight outings.
• Sophomores Keenan O'Shea (12) and Rex Epps (10) rank second and third, respectively, in Patriot League points.
• Army has allowed only four goals this season, the fewest in the Patriot League.
• Sophomore goalkeeper Justin Stoll ranks first in the league in goals-against average (.552) and second in save percentage (.846).
