Army Geared for Wednesday Matchup with Siena

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's soccer team will look to get back to its winning ways when the Black Knights face off against Siena on Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Loudonville, N.Y.
Entering Wednesday's contest, Army's 3-2 record is good for second in the Patriot League, while Siena is the only team in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) yet to capture a victory this season.
The Black Knights and Saints have met a total of six times, with Army holding the all-time series lead 5-0-1. Army claimed the last meeting between the two squads, 3-2, on Sept. 3, 2016 at Clinton Field.
ARMY (3-2, 0-0 PATRIOT LEAGUE)
• The Black Knights are coming off back-to-back losses to Fairleigh Dickinson (9/4) and Air Force (9/9).
• Army was held to one goal this past week and it came off the foot of sophomore Keenan O'Shea against Fairleigh Dickinson.
• Dating back to last season, the Black Knights have recorded double-digit shots in 12 straight outings.
• Sophomore Rex Epps remains atop the Patriot League in points (10) and is tied for first in goals (4).
• Sophomore goalkeeper Justin Stoll ranks first in the league in goals-against average (.588) and second in save percentage (.824).

• Since dropping their season opener, 2-1, in overtime at Cal State Northridge, the Saints have played to three consecutive draws.
• Siena has been held scoreless in two of its four outings this season.
• The Saints have been outshot in three of their last four games and are being outshot 64-46 on the year.
• Alejandro Riquelme, Carter Haydock and Alexander Tajera, the team's leading scorer last year, have each found the back of the net once in 2017.
