Women’s Rugby Announces Fall 15s Slate

2017 Fall 15s Schedule
WEST POINT, N.Y. – Head coach Bill LeClerc of the Army West Point women's rugby team has announced the team's schedule for the 2017 fall 15s season.
The Black Knights will play an 11-game schedule with the National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) playoffs to follow. Of those 11 contests, 10 are against nationally-ranked opponents with six home matches at the Anderson Rugby Complex.
Army will begin its campaign on the road against the reigning champions and top-ranked Quinnipiac Bobcats on Sept. 1. The Black Knights then return to West Point to play ninth-ranked AIC on the 8th and No. 11 Harvard on the 16th. They close out the month with contests at 10th-ranked Dartmouth on the 23rd and 16th-ranked Norwich on the 30th.
The Cadets begin a four-match homestand on Oct. 6 as No. 4 Lindenwood comes to West Point before a rematch with Quinnipiac on the 14th. Army renews its rivalry with Navy on Oct. 20 at home before facing third-ranked Central Washington two days later.
Army closes out its season with a pair of road contests at No. 2 Penn State on Oct. 28 and No. 14 Air Force on Nov. 4.
The postseason will begin on Nov. 11 with the NIRA quarterfinals. The semifinals are scheduled for the 17th and the championship match will be held on the 19th.
