CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – For the first time since the 2013-14 season and 11th time overall, Army West Point Athletics has claimed the Patriot League Presidents' Cup on the men's side edging out service academy rival Navy by 2.25 points.
"The Patriot League remains one of the most competitive conferences in the nation," said Director of Athletics Boo Corrigan. "To win the Presidents' Cup on the men's side is a great accomplishment. Congratulations to the cadet-athletes and coaches that showed the grit and determination throughout the year to help achieve this honor."
After ranking fifth through the winter season, the Black Knights kicked it into high gear this spring to claim the title. Men's tennis, golf, lacrosse, track and field along with baseball secured 35.75 points to overcome the deficit.
