Kim Earns AAA Athlete of the Week

WEST POINT, N.Y. -  After his dominating performance on the course last weekend, senior Peter Kim of the Army West Point golf team was named the Army Athletic Association Athlete of the Week.

Kim brought home the individual title at the Patriot League Championships after scoring 68-63-69 – 200 (-10). Kim's performance during the second round, 63 (-7), is a Patriot League and a Bucknell Golf Course record for 18 holes. The Metuchen, N.J., native was seven strokes ahead of J.P. Raftery from Bucknell who finished second.

As a whole, the golf team placed second over the weekend with a score of 275-279-286 – 840 to finish even with par. Kim will learn which NCAA Regional he will be participating in this Thursday at 12 p.m.
