WEST POINT, N.Y. – For the first time ever, Saturday's baseball series opener with rival Navy went global on Facebook.

Game one against Navy was the third college baseball contest to be streamed live on the NCAA Baseball Facebook page. The game reached over 704,500 people with a total number of 103,000 video views. Fans were able to also comment and share the stream totaling 4,900 interactions.

The game was at its highest peak with 571 viewers and had an average watch time of 15 minutes. Throughout the game there were 3,277 "likes" and 1,773 shares.

The Black Knights next head to Fishkill, N.Y., on Wednesday for the 12th annual Hudson Valley Baseball Classic with Marist at Dutchess Stadium. Game time is slated for 6:30 p.m., but there will be a pregame clinic for boys and girls ages kindergarten through eighth grade beginning at 4:50 p.m. The event will also feature an autograph session with players from both teams, a parachute jump by Army's parachute team and postgame fireworks presented by Legion Fireworks.Â
