#11/12 Army Set for Showdown with Loyola

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The No. 11/12 Army West Point men's lacrosse team is back at Michie Stadium on Friday night for the Patriot League regular season finale at 7 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
There is a lot on the line on Friday night. With a win, Army secures the top seed in the Patriot League Tournament and the outright regular season title.

THE OPENING FACEOFF
• Army enters Friday's matchup after having its nine-game winning streak stopped at Navy with a 10-6 lost against its arch-rival Saturday.
• The Black Knights went scoreless in the final 16 minutes, allowing the Mids to scored seven straight and earn the Star.
• The last time Army lost prior to Saturday was at Rutgers on Feb. 18 and the Black Knights responded with nine consecutive wins.

• The Black Knights will be making their 13th straight appearance in the semifinals, which is the longest streak in the Patriot League. The next closest are Navy and Bucknell with two consecutive appearances.
• Army is also the only team to make the semifinals every year since the league went to six teams in the tournament and have won two quarterfinals matchups as well.
SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
• Loyola comes to West Point with a 7-5 record and has a shot at gaining the top seed in the tournament with a win on Friday night.
• When talking Loyola, there is one player that comes to mind and that is sophomore Pat Spencer.
• Spencer is the top point-getter in the Patriot League with 5.58 points per game, including 3.67 assists per contest.
• He tallied 10 points in last year's Patriot League Tournament final and led the Greyhounds to the NCAA Final Four in 2016.
• The Greyhounds have shown they can score the ball, documenting seven games with 11 or more goals on the board and their 12.83 goals per game ranks 11th in the country.
• Faceoff specialist Graham Savio is among the best in the league, going 168-of-282 faceoffs this year for a .596 winning percentage.
• In goal, Jacob Stover has started nine games and has a 6-3 mark with a 8.63 goals against average and a .503 save percentage.
