WEST POINT, N.Y. - When things are stacked up against you, how you respond is a judgment of character.
Senior Gunnar Miller received news he had to sit out for the most of the 2016 season due to a heart condition. He embraced his new role on the men's lacrosse team last season and became a student coach, helping his teammates get better everyday.
He is back in 2017 and is enjoying one of his best seasons in an Army uniform. He has started all 11 games for the Black Knights this year and is a key contributor for a team that is looking for its program record 10th straight win on Saturday at Navy.
