Army Games to be Streamed Live on Twitter
March 22, 2017 | Men's Lacrosse
CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Patriot League Network (PLN) has added two Army West Point men's lacrosse games to be streamed live via Twitter, starting with Saturday's matchup against Colgate at Michie Stadium at 3:30 p.m.
The second game features the Black Knights welcoming Boston University on April 8 at 12 p.m. in a big Patriot League matchup between two current teams in the top 20 nationally.
Patriot League Network games streamed to Twitter are made possible through the League's partnership with Campus Insiders.
Both games can be viewed by following the PLN and Campus Insiders official Twitter accounts: @PatriotLeagueTV and @CampusInsiders. Fans can also access through the @ArmyWP_MLax Twitter page as well.Â
Viewers can also find the Raiders at Black Knights men's lacrosse game by Clicking Here. The Boston University at Army West Point game will be available the week of the game. Fans can use the hashtag #PLLAX to join the conversation for any of the Patriot League men's games and women's games this season. Live streaming of Patriot League games is a strong complement to the live nature of Twitter. Now, fans can enjoy the live content and the conversation in one place on Twitter.
Â
Through the 2016-17 academic year, the Patriot League has continued to add content to stream via Twitter. The League has enjoyed strong viewership numbers for its matchups throughout the year that have included nine lacrosse games. A Patriot League Men's Basketball Tournament quarterfinal matchup between Army West Point and Bucknell was featured earlier in March. The first men's lacrosse game on Twitter; University of Virginia at Loyola Maryland, gained over 600,000 viewers. In December, Army West Point vs. Air Force was the League's first basketball game streamed to Twitter. Earlier in October, Holy Cross hosted Bucknell in the first FCS football game to be streamed via the platform. The Ram-Crusader Cup football game at Yankee Stadium was also streamed live on Twitter.
Â
Additional content, including more Patriot League men's and women's lacrosse will continue to be announced throughout the course of the year on the Patriot League's official website - www.PatriotLeague.com.
