Cadets Close Out Spring Break with 3 at Presbyterian

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point baseball is set for a three-game series with Presbyterian to close out its spring break trip down south.

The Black Knights first meet the Blue Hose on Friday at 3 p.m. before following that up with a 2 p.m. contest on Saturday. The two teams will then finish the games on Sunday with an 11 a.m. first pitch. All contests will have live stats available.
Army finished the first part of their spring break tip with a mark of 3-3 after wins over Bowling Green and Alabama State, twice.

Throughout the six games, senior Kris Lindner hit at a team-best .440 clip, notching 11 hits in 25 at-bats with two doubles, one home run, two runs and seven RBI.

Fellow classmate Baggio Saldivar averaged .364 in his four games played, while sophomores Josh White and Tyler Giovinco batted .316 and .300 in their six and three games, respectively.

On the hill, sophomores Cam Opp and Jacob Carte along with rookie Drake Titus posted wins. Opp finished his nine total innings on the week with a 3.00 ERA. Carte allowed six runs in 5.0 innings, while Titus gave up three during his 3.2 innings of work.

- Army is set to host Harvard for back-to-back doubleheaders on March 25-26 as part of its home-opening weekend. Game time for both days is noon on Doubleday Field.
