Lampman Named Corvias Player of the Week

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Senior captain Sam Lampman from the Army West Point men's tennis team was named the Patriot League Corvias Male Player of the Week.
Lampman helped the Black Knights to a three-match sweep over the weekend, winning three doubles matches and two singles matches.
The Orlando, Fla., native paired up with teammate Gregory Shannon at No. 2 doubles to defeat Bryant (6-3), Stony Brook (6-0), and NJIT (6-2). He also picked up straight-set wins over Bryant, 6-4, 7-6 (8-6), and Stony Brook, 6-2, 6-3, at No. 2 singles.
The Black Knights will wrap up their home stand this weekend with matches against Fordham and St. Bonaventure on Saturday.
