Hornick Rakes in AAA Athlete of the Week Accolades

WEST POINT, N.Y. – After scoring a record-setting seven goals against Hudson Valley rival Marist, junior Rachel Hornick of the Army West Point women's lacrosse team has been named the Army Athletic Association Athlete of the Week.
Hornick garners the honor along with a Patriot League Attacker of the Week nod for her performance in the team's 13-12 victory over the Red Foxes.
The Calvert, Md., native netted Army's first four goals of the game and added three more in the contest for a career-high.
The seven goals were also a program record for a single-game performance. Hornick scored seven goals on nine shots and added a ground ball and caused turnover.
Army travels to Manhattan next Saturday for a 3 p.m. game against the Jaspers.
