Army West Point Athletics
Day Two of Bowl Practice In The Books
December 20, 2017 | Football
FORT WORTH, Texas - The Army West Point football team wrapped up its second day of practice down in Texas prior to the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl on Saturday.Â
The Black Knights made their way back to Wildcat Stadium on the campus of Kennedale High School where the Cadets practiced under sunny skies. It was a slight change from Tuesday's rainy conditions so Army embraced the mid-60's temperature. Â
As usual, practice started out with drills for special teams. The Cadets then transitioned into individual positional groups before breaking up into offense and defense. Practice concluded with a small scrimmage in which the top offense went against the scout team.
A nice team dinner and a comedy show will wrap up an exciting Wednesday down here in Texas.
The Black Knight have one more practice and then a walk through on Friday before the game Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Central on ESPN.
