Army Set to Host Inaugural CSFL Championship Game

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point sprint football team is seeking its 35th Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) title Friday evening when the Black Knights host the inaugural championship game at Shea Stadium at 7 p.m.

ARMY (7-0, 3-0 CSFL North)
• The Black Knights are in pursuit of their 18th perfect season.
• Army leads the league in scoring offense and defense, posting an average score of 50.6-6.6.
• The Cadets are also tops in the league in total offense and defense.
• Junior quarterback Keegan West has led the league's best passing offense with 1,323 yards and 15 touchdowns.
• Sophomore wide receiver Tom Williamson has been West's favorite target, hauling in 20 receptions for 399 yards and a team-high six scores.
• Sophomore running back Jake Gigliotti has provided a spark in the back field, totting the ball 75 times for 471 yards and 10 touchdowns.
• Defensively, junior defensive lineman James Scroggins paces the squad with 37 tackles.
• Sophomore Connor Long ranks first in the league with 17.0 tackles for a loss of 82 yards, including 8.5 sacks for a loss of 53 yards.

• The Quakers are the only team besides Army to allow fewer than 100 points this season.
• Offensively, Penn is led by quarterback Eddie Jenkins who has thrown for 1,210 yards and 11 touchdowns after going 74-for-127 through the air. Â
• His favorite target has been Aidan Kelly, who collected 23 receptions for 421 yards and three touchdowns.
• Jake Klaus has provided some balance through the ground game, recording 533 yards and nine touchdowns on 110 attempts.
• Defensively, Matt Gorman's 60 tackles is the most on Penn's squad.
• Tom Console and Tracey Woods Jr. have each picked off three passes this season.
