WEST POINT, N.Y. – After playing its last four games on the road, the Army West Point hockey team returns to Tate Rink for a series against Holy Cross.

ARMY (6-4-0, 6-4-0 Atlantic Hockey)
- The Black Knights are riding a 10-game unbeaten streak over the Crusaders that dates back to 2014.
- Last season, Army defeated Holy Cross by a combined score of 19-6.
- This will be the Black Knights' second home weekend of 2017-18 with both contests starting at 7:05 p.m.
- After Saturday night's game, Army will host its first Skate with the Black Knights event of the year.
- Fans wishing to participate must bring their skates to the game.
- There will be areas to change out of shoes and autographs will be signed on the ice by the team.
HOLY CROSS (6-4-0, 6-4-0 Atlantic Hockey)
- The Crusaders come to West Point with a 4-2-4 overall record and a 3-1-4 mark in Atlantic Hockey contests.
- Holy Cross topped Air Force, 3-0, Friday night before tying, 3-3, on Saturday.
- The Crusaders currently have 10 points and are tied for third in league standings.
- Scott Pooley leads the league in scoring with 10 goals and an average 1.00 points per game.
- He is also first in the AHA in power play goals with four on the year.
- Paul Berrafato returns to net for the Crusaders with a 2.42 goals against average and .926 save percentage.
TWO POINTS FROM BUFFALO
- Army went 1-1-0 last weekend with a road split at Niagara. The Black Knights topped the Purple Eagles 3-1 Friday night with two players notching their first goals of the season.
- Trevor Fidler found the back of the net for Army's first goal, while Zach Evancho netted the game winner.
- Michael Wilson scored on the empty net to put the game out of reach for Niagara.
- Conor Andrle recorded a career-high three assists on the night as he had a hand in all of the Black Knights' goals.
- In game two, Evancho scored to tie the game 1-1, but the Purple Eagles netted two more to go up 3-1.
- Wilson scored halfway through the third on the power play, but Army couldn't conjure another to take the game into overtime.
STREAKS AND PEAKS
- The Black Knights' offense has been very productive this season with three players in double-digit points.
- Wilson leads the team and ranks seventh in the nation with 0.80 goals per game.
- Dominic Franco and Tyler Pham have each produced three goals and seven assists on the year.
- Pham has recorded at least one point in all but one of Army's games this season.
- The Black Knights have seen 12 multi-point performances by its players this season with Franco and Wilson leading the way with three apiece.
- Andrle joined the list last weekend when he dished out three helpers on Friday night for a career-high.
BRANCH NIGHT
- Army's 11 seniors participated in Branch Night on Wednesday where they each learned what military branch they will be joining after graduation.
- All 11 received their top choice with seven joining the Infantry in Andrle, Blake Box, Cole Bruns, James Callan, Dan Curran and Nick Curtin.
- Nick DeCenzo will be an Engineer Officer upon graduation, while Brendan McGuire joins the Field Artillery with a Signal Detail.
- Pham will be in Aviation as Mike Preston begins his military career in Armor and Joe Shecter Medical Service.
