WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Black Knights are looking for their seventh win in a row as they head to the State of Texas for the second time this season with a visit to North Texas.

THE OPENING KICKOFF
• Army's six-game winning streak is the longest for the Black Knights since 1996.
• Dating back to last season, Army is 11-2 in its last 13 games; since the beginning of 2016, it has won 16 of its last 23 contests.
• The Black Knights won a game over a Power 5 conference team for the second year in a row with a 21-16 victory over Duke.
• Army finishes the 2017 home slate undefeated at 6-0, and the last three games have been won by a total of nine points.
• The last team to go undefeated at Michie Stadium was the 1996 squad, and Army is the sixth team since 1960 to win every game at home.
• The Black Knights are headed to back-to-back bowls for the first time since the 1984 and 1985 seasons when they went to the Cherry and Peach Bowl under head coach Jim Young.
• North Texas, like Army, has seen success since the Heart of Dallas Bowl last year, and is 7-3 on the year and wrapped up the West Division Title in Conference USA last Saturday.
ARMY-NORTH TEXAS SERIES HISTORY
• This will be the seventh all-time meeting between Army and North Texas.
• This is going to be the third meeting in two seasons after the matchup last year in the Heart of Dallas Bowl.
• Army won the first four games in the series, but North Texas defeated the Black Knights, 35-18, at Michie Stadium last season.
• The Black Knights returned the favor in the Heart of Dallas Bowl with an exciting 38-31 overtime victory with Jordan Asberry scoring on a fourth down play to put Army up in the first overtime.
• Army is unbeaten at North Texas and this is the first game in Denton for the Black Knights since 2009.
ABOUT THE MEAN GREEN
• North Texas has won three games in a row and six of its last seven games heading into Saturday.
• The Mean Green are unbeaten at home and won the West Division of Conference USA with a 45-10 victory over UTEP last week.
• In its five home victories, North Texas is averaging 44 points per game.
• The Mean Green have been successful on the ground and in the air as Jeffery Wilson has racked up 1,143 yards on the ground and 14 scores, while Mason Fine has 2,812 passing yards and 22 touchdowns.
• Jalen Guyton leads the team in receiving with 731 yards and eight scores and averages 73 yards per contest.
• The defense has struggled, giving up 33 points per game and over 412 yards of total offense to opposing teams.
BOWL ELIGIBLE
• The Black Knights have earned a bid into the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl after the victory against Temple.
• Army is playing in back-to-back bowl games for the first time since the 1984 and 1985 seasons.
• The Black Knights are the first team in FBS to accept a bowl bid in 2017.
• This is the second trip to the Armed Forces Bowl for the Black Knights as they defeated SMU back in 2010.
THE CIC TROPHY
• With the win over Air Force Saturday, the winner of the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy will be decided on Dec. 9 in Philadelphia as Army takes on Navy.
• The Black Knights are in the running for the trophy for the first time since 2012 when Army defeated Air Force at home, but lost to Navy in Philadelphia.
• Army is looking for its first CIC Trophy since 1996.
WINNING FOOTBALL
• The Black Knights have had a tremendous stretch of games dating back to late last season.
• Army is now 11-2 over its last 13 games with the two losses coming against then-No. 8 Ohio State and a close defeat at Tulane.
• The Black Knights went from losing seven games by seven points or less in 2015 to winning six of their last seven in games decided by a touchdown or less since the start of the 2016 season.
LOVE THAT HOME COOKIN'
• The Black Knights finished their first undefeated season at home since 1996 with a victory over Duke.
• Army outscored its opponents by an average of 14 points at home this season and outgained them by an average of 60 yards per contest.
• The Black Knights did not give up a single point in the third quarter all season at home and outscored opponents 96-40 in the second half.
BRADSHAW! BRADSHAW!
• Quarterback Ahmad Bradshaw narrowly missed another 100 yard rushing game against Duke with 96 yards on the ground.
• Bradshaw ran for a career high 265 yards in the win over Air Force and averaged an impressive 11.5 yards per carry.
• At the time, It was the second-most by an FBS quarterback this season, behind only Khalil Tate of Arizona, who ran for 327 yards in 2017.
• The yardage was the seventh-most overall for a single game in 2017.
• The total was the most by an Army player on the road in program history, eclipsing Carlton Jones' 225 at South Florida in 2004.
• Bradshaw is currently ninth in the country in rushing yards with 1,228 total this season and is fifth in the nation in yards per carry at 7.56. He is 11th in the country in rushing yards per game at 122.8.
• He became the first player to reach 1,000 yards in a season since Larry Dixon in 2014, and the 15th player all-time to reach the milestone. He jumped up four spots last week to fifth all-time in single season rushing at 1,228.
• Bradshaw needs 21 yards to pass Trent Steelman for the most rushing yards in a season by an Army quarterback.
