Army Receiving Votes in National Polls

WEST POINT, N.Y. -- The Army West Point hockey team started the season with two road wins over American International and are receiving votes in both the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine National Poll and the USCHO.com National Poll, announced Monday.
The Black Knights received one vote in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll and four votes in the USCHO.com Poll.
Army defeated AIC 5-1 on Friday night in the season opener and then 2-1 on Saturday also on the road.
Michael Wilson led the team with four points on one goal and three assists and Cole Bruns backed the team in net with 63 saves and just two goals against.
Army is off until the weekend of Oct. 20-21 when it travels to Pittsburgh, Pa., for a two-game series at Robert Morris.
