Army Set for Saturday Showdown with Loyola

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's soccer team will look to stay hot and battle it out on the pitch in a Patriot League road match against Loyola on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
Both squads are entering Saturday's contest with an identical 2-1 Patriot League record. The Black Knights carry an overall record of 8-3, compared to Loyola's 5-4-1 mark.
Army and Loyola have only met four times in program history, with the Black Knights holding the slight 3-0-1 edge. The Cadets came out on top in the first three meetings, but the teams played to a 2-2 draw at West Point in last year's game.
ARMY (8-3, 2-1 PATRIOT LEAGUE)
• Army is coming into the weekend after defeating Lafayette, 1-0, on Wednesday night.
• In the latest NCAA RPI Ranking, Army is 19th, the highest by any Patriot League school.
• Army continues to receive votes in the USCA National Coaches Poll.
• The Black Knights have claimed six shutout victories, the most in a single season since 2013.
• The Cadets have outshot the opposition in 10 of 11 games this season.
• Stoll remains first in the league in goals-against average (.533) and second in save percentage (.806).
