Men's XC Earns First and Second Team Honors

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Four members of the Army West Point men's cross country team earned All-Patriot League honors after their performance at the Patriot League Championships on Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore Robbie Santoyo and senior John Valeri, who both finished in the top-five at the meet, earned First-Team All-Patriot League honors. Santoyo led the Black Knights with a time of 24:22.45, which was good for third place. He was followed closely by Valeri, who took fourth after crossing at 24:24.24.

Sophomore Roman Ollar and Ben Petrella also had strong showings, garnering Second-Team All-Patriot League honors. Ollar took ninth, marking a time of 24:33.05, while Petrella placed 12th after clocking a time of 24:42.20.

Up next, Army will travel to Buffalo, N.Y., for the Northeast Regional Championships on Nov. 10th.
