THIS WEEK: BACK TO LEAGUE PLAY
- It is a special weekend for the two squads as the Black Knights and Falcons will first square-off at Frozen Fenway as part of the outdoor winter series held in Boston.
- The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. at the home of the Boston Red Sox on Thursday.
- It is the current Black Knights' first time playing in an outdoor rink.
- Although the West Point hockey program was started on an outdoor frozen pond on the banks of the Hudson, the Cadets' last outing on a frozen pond was in 2012 when they faced AIC at Rentschler Field in February of 2011 and won 4-1.
- Friday night's contest will be back at Bentley's Ryan Skating Arena with a 7:05 p.m. start to wrap-up the weekend.
LAST WEEK: UNBEATEN WEEKEND
- The Black Knights continued their excellence in December with a 1-0-1 showing at Dartmouth's Ledyard Classic.
- Army and the Big Green battled to a 2-2 draw on Friday before the Cadets downed Colgate 4-1 on Saturday.

- Taylor Maruya and Tyler Pham also added two points apiece after they each dished out a pair of helpers.

- As a team, the Black Knights rank highly in multiple statistical categories amongst the nation's best.

- The Black Knights' defense has also been successful and is second nationally, allowing just 1.78 goals per game.
- Army's penalty kill has the second-best kill rate in the country at .899.
