Army Set For Holy Cross, Lehigh This Week

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's soccer team plays host to Holy Cross on Wednesday before traveling to Lehigh this weekend.
Wednesday's midweek tilt it slated for 7 p.m. on Clinton Field, while the Black Knights contest with Lehigh is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday at the Ulrich Sports Complex.

THE MATCHUPS
- Army and Holy Cross will face off for the 29th time in their history Wednesday.
- Currently, the Black Knights lead the all-time series at 18-6-4.
- In the teams' last meeting on Sept. 30, 2015, Holy Cross stunned Army scoring the go-ahead tally in the 90th minute to take a 2-1 victory.
- Lehigh and Army will meet Saturday for the 28th time in program history.
- The Black Knights also hold the overall edge on that series at 16-6-5.
- Just a season ago, Army shutout the Mountain Hawks 2-0 following goals from Katie Holder '16 and Clare Shea
LAST OUTING
- Army picked up its second consecutive victory and first Patriot League win, after defeating Lafayette, 2-1, Saturday.
- Army improves to 3-7-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the league.
- Samantha Sullenger opened the game's scoring with a goal in the 17th minute to put the hosts on top, 1-0, before Sam Gottlieb tallied the eventual game winner in the 53rd minute.
- Jordan Cassalia made five stops in net for the Black Knights, allowing her only goal on a penalty shot from Lafayette's Julia Wescott in the 48th minute.
