WEST POINT, N.Y.  – The New York Knickerbockers will hold their training camp at West Point from Sept. 28 through Oct. 1.
Â
This is the third consecutive year and sixth time in franchise history the Knicks have used the Army West Point facilities for their camp.
The Knicks are set to use Christl Arena, the home of the Army men's and women's basketball programs, for their practices throughout the week. They will also train in the O'Meara, Malek, Dawkins, Class of 1959 Strength Development Center inside Kimsey Athletic Center. Practice sessions will be closed to the public.
Three years ago, Team President Phil Jackson brought the Knicks back to West Point for training camp for the first time since 1967.
The Knicks roster will have a mix of new and old faces when they grace the court at West Point. Four-time USA Olympic medalist Carmelo Anthony and NBA All-Rookie First Team Kristaps Porzingis return, while Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah make their first appearances for the Orange and Blue.
Â
Although practice sessions will be closed to the public, the team will have an opportunity to interact with the Corps of Cadets at different points during the week.
