"We're excited to start the fall season and anxious to see how we play in our first tournament of the year," said head coach Brian Watts. "Seven Oaks Golf Club is a great venue and the team has had a lot of success there in the past few years.
"The fall season is that time of the year where you're looking to improve every day and get back into a rhythm. Our team has worked hard all summer off the golf course and we hope it has paid off mentally and physically. We look forward to some great competition this fall as we have an awesome fall schedule."
Â
The Black Knights will deploy a 5-man roster for competition that includes Peter Kim, Justin Pagila, Nick Turner, Gunnar Doyle, and Matt Plunkett. Competing individually for the Cadets will be Brian Stecker and Max Messner.
Â
Army finished first at the Colgate Invitational back in 2014 with a score of 873 (+9) overall, good for a 2-stroke victory.
