Mini Plans on Sale for Hockey

WEST POINT, N.Y. – With the 2016-17 Army West Point hockey season just over a month away, the Ticket Office has announced the release of mini-plan ticket packages which are on sale today, Aug. 23.

3 Game Mini Plans Range (Chairback): $27-$57
3 Game Mini Plans Range (Bleacher): $24-$42

6 Game Mini Plans Range (Chairback): $53-$108
6 Game Mini Plans Range (Bleacher): $44-$78

Season tickets are available for sale with chair back seats for $195 and bleacher seats at $119 each for the year. Faculty and staff can purchase chair back seats for $136. Group tickets are also on sale now and start at just $7 for select games.

Single-game tickets will go on sale Sept. 20.

The Black Knights will make their 2016-17 debut in a brand new rink on Oct. 1 when they travel to Hamilton, N.Y., to take on Colgate. The Raiders will be hosting the Cadets at the newly constructed Class of 1965 Arena with a 7:05 p.m. puck drop. Other non-conference games include a solo contest at UMass (Oct. 21) and a home game versus Brown (Dec. 3).

The Cadets will also play in Dartmouth's Ledyard Classic on New Year's Eve this season where they will face the Big Green (Dec. 30) along with either UMass Lowell or Colgate (Dec. 31).

Army dives right into Atlantic Hockey play the second game of the season when the team hosts Sacred Heart on Oct. 7 and Oct. 14 at Tate Rink. The Cadets will play in 28 conference contests this season with 14 at Tate Rink. Army hosts the Falcons the weekend of Nov. 4-5 and then travels to the Air Force Academy for another two-game series Jan. 27-28.

The rivalry with the Royal Military College continues this season when the Black Knights play host to their cross-continental foe. The two are set to square-off on Jan. 21.

The Atlantic Hockey Tournament will take place over three weeks in March. The best-of-three first round starts on March 3, while the quarterfinals faceoff the following weekend. The semifinals and championship will be held at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, N.Y., and those are on March 17 and 18, respectively.
