Golf to Face Northwestern in 2nd Annual Bush Cup

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Bush Cup Foundation and Army West Point golf head coach Brian Watts have announced that the second annual Bush Cup will take place Oct. 14, at the historic Medinah Country Club. The Cadets will tee-off against Northwestern.

The Black Knights and Wildcats will face each other in a Walker Cup format contest. Army tied Yale, 6-6, in the inaugural Bush Cup last season after a monumental comeback at the Winged Foot Golf Club.

The Bush Cup Foundation was established in 2015 to "promote collegiate sports and inspire athletes to strive for personal excellence as well as service to our country as exemplified by the life of President George H.W. Bush." President Bush was honored by the dedication of the event and stated," not only will the tournament bear my name, but more importantly it recognizes service to country…I am proud to be a part of what I am sure will be a hugely successful annual event."
