Harvey Named NWCA All-Academic Team

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Senior Brian Harvey of the Army West Point wrestling team has been named an All-Academic Team member by the National Wrestling Coaches Association, it was announced on Monday.
Awarded annually, the NWCA All-Academic Team is comprised of 116 student-athletes. For the second year in a row, half of the Division I champions made the team, while two additional runner-ups were selected. In all, 36 All-Americans were All-Academic selections.
The senior from New Palestine, Ind., posted a cumulative GPA of 3.255 as an Economics major and qualified for the NCAA Championships after a runner-up finish at the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association tournament. Harvey capped his career with a 93-52 mark with the team's second-best record in his senior campaign at 25-11.
