Army Wraps Up Another Practice
April 28, 2016 | Football
WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point football team is just two days away from the Black-Gold game on Saturday and finished its 13th practice of the spring on Thursday night.
Under cloudy and sometimes rainy skies, the Black Knights were very competitive in team drills and individual 1-on-1 drills during today's practice.
Mike Reynolds stepped in had two interceptions during 1-on-1 drills with the wide receivers, while Jeff Ejekam returned the favor with a pair of great catches in traffic during the same drill.
The practiced ended with a simulated late-game situation and Chris Carter led the team to a pair of third-down conversions, including a draw up the middle to set up Mitchell Howard for a field goal. The place-kicker tucked the ball inside the left upright and the offense was successful in getting points.
