Football Continues Preparation for Spring Game

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point football team continued its preparation for the spring game with a practice at Howze Field Thursday evening.

The offense and defense squared-off against each other during half line drills early on in the practice. Later on the team competed in Commander in Chief competitions and one on ones. Edgar Poe and Christian Poe stood out in these drills with consecutive catches.

Former Chief of Staff ret. General Ray Odierno was in attendance for practice today and spoke to the Black Knights afterward.

The Black Knights return to the practice field on Saturday at 10:15 a.m. for a second scrimmage. The annual Black-Gold Spring Game is scheduled for April 30 at 1 p.m.
