Men’s Basketball To Host Colgate in Tournament

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army West Point men's basketball team will enter the upcoming Patriot League Tournament as the No. 4 seed in the 10-team conference tournament. The Black Knights will host No. 5 Colgate in a conference quarterfinal game on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Christl Arena.
Army finished the regular season 18-12 overall and 9-9 in the Patriot League to earn the No. 4 seed.
The first round of the Patriot League Tournament is set for Tuesday, March 1 and will feature the No. 6 through No. 10 teams, which will compete for a spot in the quarterfinal round on Thursday. The league semifinals are slated for Sunday, March 6 and the title game is set for Wednesday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m. All Patriot League Tournament games will be played at the home court of the higher seed.
Army's fourth-place finish is tied for the highest finish in the Patriot League era and marks the third time the Black Knights have finished fourth under head coach Zach Spiker. Army ended the season fourth in the Patriot League standings in 2009 and 2013, which was the last time the Black Knights hosted a Patriot League Tournament game.
Tickets to Thursday's contest go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased by visiting GoArmyWestPoint.com/tickets or calling 1-877-TIX-ARMY. Fans can also buy tickets in person at the ticket office at Gate 3 of Michie Stadium during its regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.). The Holleder Center ticket office, located just outside Christl Arena, opens 90 minutes prior to Thursday's game.
Ticket prices are $14 per person and $7 for seniors (65+) and youths (18 and under).
