Hockey Hosts AIC in AHA First Round

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army hockey team finished in the sixth spot in Atlantic Hockey and the Black Knights will host American International in the first round of the conference tournament.
Tickets for the Atlantic Hockey First Round go on sale for season ticket members on Monday at 10 a.m. and those fans can purchase their season seat location.
The general public can purchase tickets beginning on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the ticket office. Prices are $10 for chairbacks and $9 for bleacher seating at Tate Rink. Tickets can be purchased by going online at GoArmyWestPoint.com/tickets, by calling 1-877-TIX-ARMY or in person at Gate 3 of Michie Stadium.
The first round of the tournament is a best-of-three format with each game starting at 7:05 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with a Sunday game if necessary.
The Black Knights are hosting a series for the first time since 2011 and Army finished in its highest spot since 2009-10, when it ended up sixth in the league. Other first round series include Canisius at Niagara and Sacred Heart at Bentley. Army lost both games to the Yellow Jackets in mid-December.
