Feature Friday: A Home Away from Home
December 23, 2016 | Football, General, Men's Rugby, Women's Lacrosse, Women's Rugby, Wrestling
Feature Friday highlights the tremendous personal stories our coaches and cadet-athletes have to share on a weekly basis. Each Friday, a new feature story will be prominently highlighted on GoArmyWestPoint.com. The features will include multi-media pieces, as well as written stories by media outlets and the Army West Point athletic communications staff.
Being a cadet at the U.S. Military Academy is as challenging as it is rewarding. Having a strong support system is essential to surviving the 47-month leadership development program. For some cadet-athletes, having their siblings not only at the academy along with them, but on the same team makes all the difference in making West Point a home away from home.Â
