10 Named to Phil Steele’s Postseason Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Army West Point football team was well represented on the Phil Steele's College Football Preview Postseason All-Independent Teams.
Amongst the athletes named were seniors Andrew King and Xavier Moss, who both earned first team honors on defense.
Notching second team accolades were Andy Davidson, Darnell Woolfolk, Edgar Poe, Bryce Holland and Justin Gilbert on offense and John Voit, Jeremy Timpf, and Alex Aukerman on defense.
The Army offense has recorded 40 rushing touchdowns this season and posts 327.8 rushing yards per game, which ranks second in the nation.
On the defensive end, the Black Knights rank fourth in total defense and passing yards allowed giving up only 281.6 and 158.3 yards per contest, respectively. The Cadets are also first in the country in first down defense allowing just 169.
