November 03, 2016 | Football
WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point football team returns to historic Michie Stadium Saturday, Nov. 5, for rivalry weekend. The Black Knights take on service academy rival Air Force at 12 p.m. to begin their quest for the Commander in Chiefs Trophy in front of a sellout crowd. Army fans are invited to arrive early for a visit to Black Knights Alley.
Â
There have been some changes from last year's Black Knights Alley setup to ensure all fans can enjoy the excitement surrounding the game. After going through a security checkpoint to enter the area surrounding Michie, fans will only be required to display their tickets once entering the stadium. No tickets are required for the fan fest area.
Â
Fans are encouraged to arrive early on Saturday to take part in the multitude of fan activities offered on football game days at West Point including Black Knights Alley. Please visit ARMYgameday.com for all game day information.
Â
Approximately two hours before kickoff, Army's football team members and coaches will participate in Black Knight Walk and parade through the heart of Black Knights Alley en route to the team locker room. Fans are encouraged to attend and support the Black Knights as they get set for kickoff versus the Falcons.
Â
Black Knights Alley will open at 9 a.m. Saturday morning and will be open until the game begins. The fan fest area is located along Mills Road between Michie Stadium and Lusk Reservoir. Black Knights Alley will be open three hours prior to kickoff for all home games this season and features live music, inflatables for kids, food and beverage, beer tent, face painting, a different interactive sport every game, tailgate show, as well as other vendors.
Â

The Army Football Tailgate Show will hit the air live from outside Gate 3 beginning at 10 a.m., while a Benny Havens Band will entertain fans from Gate 2, adjacent to the inflatables.
Â
Members of Army men's and women's lacrosse and men's and women's rugby teams will be on hand taking part in interactive stations and face painting with fans.
Â
In addition to presenting sponsor USAA, displays and representatives from sponsors, Nissan, PenFed Credit Union, Coca-Cola, Toys for Tots, Navy Federal Credit Union, Energice and St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital will be featured along the Alley.
