Black Knights Release 2017 Slate

2017 SCHEDULE
WEST POINT, N.Y. – Head coach Joe Alberici and the Army West Point men's lacrosse program has announced its 2017 schedule.
The slate features six non-conference matchups in addition to their competitive Patriot League schedule. Army will play Massachusetts, Rutgers and Syracuse on the road, while hosting VMI, NJIT and Notre Dame for its non-league matchups. The Irish come to Michie Stadium for the second time in three years and that anticipated matchup is set for May 6.
The season kicks off on Feb. 11 at the Minutemen and the always entertaining contest at the Orange is set for Feb. 26.
The Patriot League slate starts on March 4 with a home game against Lafayette.
The Black Knights have a tough final two games before the Patriot League Tournament, including the Star match against Navy on April 15 in Annapolis. The next week, Army welcomes reigning league champion Loyola on April 21 under the lights at West Point.
The conference tournament starts on April 25 with the quarterfinals, followed by the semifinals on April 28 and the title matchup on April 30. The semifinals and championship game is hosted by the top seed in the tournament.
