Saturday's Army-Air Force Game Sold Out

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Saturday night's hockey matchup against Academy-rival Air Force is sold out, but tickets still remain for the first game of the two-game series on Friday night at Tate Rink.
Friday night's game is set for a 7:05 p.m. puck drop, while Saturday's matchup is a 6:05 p.m. start. The second game of the weekend will be televised live on Time Warner Cable Sports Channel.

The Falcons enter this weekend with a 9-9-2 overall record and a 7-5-2 mark in conference play. They are coming off of an impressive sweep over American International. Air Force outscored the Yellow Jackets 13-3 in the two games, including a 8-2 win on Jan. 8. The Falcons started the season with a 2-6-1 mark, but they battled back to .500 with a 7-3-1 mark over their last 11 games.

Army gained one point in the league standings last weekend as the Black Knights went to overtime for the eighth time last Friday night at Tate Rink and skated to a 1-1 tie in game one against Sacred Heart. The teams returned to the ice Saturday night at Sacred Heart and the Pioneers came away with a 4-1 win. Tyler Pham tallied his third goal of the season on Friday night and then Taylor Maruya added his third as well, but his came on the road. The Pioneers fired back in both games to earn league points, including four unanswered on Saturday.
