Volleyball to Host Invitational at Christl Arena

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point volleyball team will make its home debut for the 2015 season at Christl Arena for the annual Black Knight Invitational held from Sept. 5-6.
"The team is thrilled to be playing at the historic Christl Arena," said head coach Alma Kovaci. "It provides a first-class experience for our visiting teams and it will be a fun environment for us to compete in. We had the opportunity to compete there a couple of years ago and it was great to see the place packed with our energetic fans. The Corps of Cadets supported our game in full force and it would be great to see it again. I expect it to be a great environment to compete in."
The Black Knights will host Iona, Cornell and William & Mary for the two-day tournament. The Cadets will face the Gaels (11 a.m.) and Tribe (1 p.m.) on Saturday, Sept. 5. Army West Point will close-out the tournament with a match-up against the Bears at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Iona, Cornell and William & Mary will also face each other throughout the two-day span.
All matches throughout the tournament will have livestats available, while all Army West Point matches will be streamed for free on the Patriot League Network.
