WEST POINT, N.Y. – In celebration of 125 years of Army football, the Army Athletic Association will countdown the top 10 moments in program history each Wednesday during the remainder of the 2015 football season. A fan vote and a panel of athletic department officials combined to determine the list of top moments.

Army defeats SMU in 2010 Armed Forces Bowl for first bowl win in 25 years
Army forced three turnovers, including a 55-yard fumble return for a touchdown by senior DE Josh McNary, to build a 16-0 halftime lead, and hung on for a 16-14 win over Southern Methodist University in the 2010 Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl. The game was played in front of a stadium-record crowd of 36,742 at Gerald J. Ford Stadium on Dec. 31, 2010.
The win clinched Army's first winning season (7-6) since the 1996 squad went 10-2, and the Black Knights improved to 3-2 in their five bowl games.
Senior LB Stephen Anderson was named Army's Most Outstanding Player after registering a season-high 14 tackles, including 1.5 for loss, and an interception. Offensively, sophomore FB Jared Hassin led the Army ground game with 82 yards on 18 carries.
