Black Knights Alley Ready for Football vs. Bucknell

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Prior to the Army West Point homecoming football game against Bucknell Saturday, Black Knights Alley will provide fans entertainment leading up to the 12 p.m. kickoff.
On Saturday, Army football will be celebrating 125 years of program history. Fans are encouraged to pick up the program on Saturday which will showcase a commemorative cover for the 125th year. Army began playing football in 1890 and shows a 662-501-51 all-time record. This year is also the 92nd season that the Black Knights have called Michie Stadium home.
In an effort to control lines entering the stadium from Black Knights Alley, this year the fan fest area will only be accessible with a game day ticket. Fans will be permitted to scan in their tickets to enter and have tickets scanned to exit.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early on Saturday to take part in the multitude of fan activities offered on football game days at West Point including Black Knights Alley. Please visit ARMYgameday.com for all game day information.
Approximately two hours before kickoff, Army's football team members and coaches will participate in Black Knight Walk and parade through the heart of Black Knights Alley en route to the team locker room. Fans are encouraged to attend and support the Black Knights as they get set for kickoff versus the Bison.
Black Knights Alley will open at 9 a.m. Saturday morning and will be open until the game begins. The fan fest area is located along Mills Road between Michie Stadium and Lusk Reservoir. Black Knights Alley will be open three hours prior to kickoff for all home games this season and features live music, inflatables for kids, food and beverage, beer tent, face painting, a different interactive sport every game, tailgate show, as well as other vendors.
Saturday morning's Black Knights Alley activities will feature Army humvee vehicles and Coca-Cola inflatables bookending the event between Gates 1 and 3 of Michie Stadium. The Army Football Tailgate Show will hit the air live from outside Gate 2 beginning at 10 a.m., while a West Point Band entertains fans from the Gate 1 end of the Alley adjacent to the Anheuser-Busch beverage tent.
Members of the Army men's and women's lacrosse programs will be face painting in Black Knights Alley, while softball, baseball and men's boxing teams will be on hand taking part in interactive stations with fans.
In addition, displays and representatives from USAA, Navy Federal Credit Union, Coca-Cola, State Farm, Battle Field Collection, Pamal Radio, Residential Home Funding, Penfed, Core Power, St. Luke's Hospital – Cornwall, Energice, Key Bank and Budweiser. There will also be an autograph station dedicated to Miss USA, Olivia Jordan, and tents designated for U.S. Army Recruiting and the West Point Benny Havens in Black Knights Alley.
Parking lots open at 6 a.m. Saturday with stadium gates opening at 10 a.m. Tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling 1-877-TIX-ARMY or visiting www.GoArmyWestPoint.com/tickets.
